Project 1 - New kitchen/diner
New kitchen/diner with structural wall removed to really open up the space. New granite floor tiles, and Howdens kitchen.
John and the amazing team have created a light and beautiful kitchen diner from a very dark, tight space which was not able to be used, until now, to its full potential. They created the area around our specific needs which has allowed us to not only use all of the space more effectively but meant my husband, who is now a wherlchair user, has a dedicated area in the kitchen to work and bake at and can now move around the area safely,
From the first call, John was responsive and organised a great team of people from planning and surveying to plasterers, flooring and painting. The work was completed to a high quality and with good humour at all times. Our dog took a shine to them and still checks for them daily out the front window!
We love the transformation and have highly recommended John and the J B Construction team to family, friends and our neighbours who have seen the transformation to our property and are looking forward to work starting on theirs very soon!

We put off undertaking our (desperately-needed) building work for many years because we found the prospect terrifying. From our first meeting with John he inspired confidence and trust, and we were really impressed with his expertise. John and his team were all friendly, professional and completely trustworthy – critical when we were still living in the house with our young children.
We’re so happy with the work – visitors have been really impressed with how it looks. The quality of the carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting, electrics and flooring are all top notch. We particularly love the in-built cabinets and shelving that John hand-made for us, which have transformed the area. We highly recommend J B Construction!
